In these days of self isolation because of the COVID19 virus, and lack of any kind of motorsport, let alone sports altogether, a bunch of guys are putting together a very interesting endurance race. It’s a 24 hour race on Le Mans, run on iRacing, and featuring LMP1, HPD and GTE cars. It is still in its very early days, but drivers and teams seem to be rushing in very quickly! There will be a post on this very shortly!
I have offered to make a logo for the race, and after a few tries that were more amusing than good, this is the result.
I was surprised to realise that the virus illustration may not be universal, but it has been used a lot here in Denmark, so I went forward and used it as part of the logo. At least if people don’t know what it is, it still is pretty decorative in an abstract kind of way.
In order for the teams to be able to use it on their car liveries, I also did some part elements of the text and of the virus, that can be used separately as part of the graphics
