The Forza games have some really amazing options for taking in-game photos. If you are just slightly interested in photography, you’ll love being able to adjust settings like shutter speed, aperture, zoom and much more. These advanced photo features, have created a whole community of photographers, who probably use the game, mostly to take photos, instead of race! Especially after the launch of Forza Horizon 3, the photography features of the game have received a whole lot of attention, especially with the launch of the drone feature.

It is pretty easy to figure out how to jump into photo mode during a race replay, or even when you are in ForzaVista view. In most offline races, you can even just pause the game, and go into photo mode. During online races, you’ll have to wait until the race is over, and use photo mode during the replay (as you can’t expect the other races to pause the race for you to take a picture…)

Once you’ve taken that great shot, you’ll probably want to get it on to your computer, to share on social media, a website, use as a desktop background or even print it! To do this, you’ll need to head over to ForzaMotorsport.net

This is the official website of the Forza series, that includes news about forza, the Forza community/forums and the user galleries. Log in with your Xbox credentials, and it will pull your info from the game into the site. Now head over to Community and click on Gallery. Here you will see all the pictures that you’ve taken and shared in any Forza game. Note, that it will only display the images that you have shared, so make sure to save & share the photos that you take in-game.

From here, simply click on the image you want to save, to load it in full size. Then you can right click (control+click on apple), and depending on the browser you are using, save the image to a location on your local hard drive. From there, you can use the image for what ever you may like.

About The Author

I've been hooked on racing games, ever since the Burnout series back in the late 90s and after going through some painful years trying to learn the F1 series games, i am now hooked on Forza. I am not the fastest on the track, and not a fanatic, but i enjoy sim racing a lot, and try to get better and faster.
