As you may have noticed, the site has been very inactive latelly. This is not due to lack of willingness, but mostly because there is not much to write/post about.

You may have noticed that i have dropped Forza 7, mainly because i was disapointed on most of the choices they did with the game. I have since been quite active on Project Cars 2. This is a lot closer to what i would expect of a racing game, but it still has some issues that for me, are big enough to not be on it wuite as musch as i would want to. Most of what i can come up with, would be complaints about the game and lobbies, and nobody really likes reading about things like that. There are high hopes that the next patch will fix many of these issues, so i’ll be keeping an eye out for that.

I am currently enjoying the career mode of F1 2017. Although i have not dared to joine any online lobbies there yet, i feel that on Xbox One, with a Controller this is the best racing game available right now. Although i never felt comfortable in the open wheelers of Forza, F1 2017 has some prety decent handling. Also the elements of strategy, part fitting, part development and resource management are very interesting. The AI is more or less realistic, but good to race against and pit stop strategy actually does have a huge effect on the race outcome!

I really hope that the upcoming updates to Project Cars 2 will make the game more stable for online racing though, as that game has huge potential and is a lot of fun when it actually works. It’s just very frustrating when it doesn’t

About The Author

I've been hooked on racing games, ever since the Burnout series back in the late 90s and after going through some painful years trying to learn the F1 series games, i am now hooked on Forza. I am not the fastest on the track, and not a fanatic, but i enjoy sim racing a lot, and try to get better and faster.
