It seems like the leagues are picking up again, probably because of some great sessions set up by Forza. This week is also great, and we look forward to having a go with a least one of them!

Spec Pagani

In Speck leagues, all drivers run the same car. This week, it’s locked to the extremely fast Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster from 2009. This car is fast but does not have enough downforce for some corners. You’ll need to drive it at the limit to be fast, but when you do, it feels great! If you make it past the first couple of corners, this will give some awesome racing

V8 Supercars

The V8 supercars will run an endurance series league, where races are slightly longer than others, and there will be a forced quickstop that allows for some strategi – at least for running clean laps. These cars are pretty good once you get used to them, but they are super powerful and you’ll need to be gentle with all inputs.

Open B Ghost

Our featured event is the open B class ghost league. Even though Ghost leagues drastically change the nature of racing, because collisions are turned off, they are still a lot of fun. Cars can’t hit each other. This also means that you can’t block others, but also that you won’t need to make a proper pass.  You can simply drive through them.

Damage is still on though (at least for the higher divisions) so take care to not hit any walls, barriers, over-rev your engine or miss the clutch when changing gears.

B class is a great class of cars, that can give some close and fast racing, but still maintaining a decent amount of reaction time. If you mess up, you can often correct your mistake and continue racing. Any car that is or has been tuned to B class can join, so i’m sure you’ll see some unlikely set ups in these lobbies.

Ghost Porsches

A special league has been running for a week, and will last one more week, running Porsches in S class.

This is also a ghost league but required the Porsche DLC. These are usually a lot of fun and can give some really good racing, once you get used to the way Porsches handle on track. My personal favorite is the 911 GT3 RS 4.0
It has decent speed, but some really awesome acceleration while it still feels controllable and easy to handle in the corners. Give it a try!

About The Author

I've been hooked on racing games, ever since the Burnout series back in the late 90s and after going through some painful years trying to learn the F1 series games, i am now hooked on Forza. I am not the fastest on the track, and not a fanatic, but i enjoy sim racing a lot, and try to get better and faster.
