The leagues for next week have launched and they look like fun, even though they have a few tricky cars for you to race in. Have a look, and let us know in the comments what your thoughts are.
Spec league with a classic
Although i love the looks and sound of the BMW M1 Procar, and they way it feels on the track, i am not sure i’d like to race it in a public lobby. The car is fantastic, and has this awesome retro feeling, that gives it a soul, but it can be a little tricky especially in corners.
In the Spec league all drivers will use the same car, with no tunes or upgrades. It will be up to you to drive it faster than others. Although the cars need to be identical, you can still pick a livery for it. There are many great designs for this car, but you may want to check this paint out, by ForzaFanRS, that ads to the retro feeling of the car.
Can Am Ghosts
The ghost leagues are fun and safe. Collisions are turned off, so you won’t be taken out by other drivers. For this week, we’ll be stuck with the Can Am cars. These look great, with some huge aero wings, and great shapes, but are pretty terrible to drive, unless you find a good tune for them.
There are 4 cars to pick from, and although you can tune and upgrade them, they need to stay in R class for this league. If you pick the Chaparral 2E, you may want to check out this livery by Zly Tomaszek
Long Runs with Ultimate Sport Machines
The endurance leagues feature slightly longer sessions, with a forced quickstop that allows for some strategy. You’ll need to pick a car from the Ultimate Sport Machines league that includes 34 models. Even though these cars are both in A and B class, you are allowed to tune and upgrade them, as long as they stay in A class. There are many good cars here, but make sure you try out the 2008 BMW M3 or the or the 2016 Ford Shelby GT350R. They are very different cars to drive, but equally enjoyable.
