3 new leagues and this weeks is different!
Last week, i was looking forward to the Ghost League in B class, but i actually ended up really enjoying the Spec League, with Lotus Exige S. Once you get used to the car, it is actually a lot of fun, and a good challenge! I was not fast, and almost never at the front, but i still had a lot of fun, and had a good week of practicing trigger controls.
This week, Forza 6 has cooked up som very interesting leagues, with some fun divisions
Track Toys League
This is a new one for me. Last time i tried Track Toys division, was in career mode, and i didn’t really enjoy it. I had a run with the Donkervoort D8 GTO, and must admit that it was more fun than i remembered. These are mainly overpowered cars that weigh very little, and are made for a lot of fun on the track. If you can handle them, and know what you are doing, these are going to be a blast! The league is locked to A class, and includes cars such as the KTM X-bow, BAC mono, Caterham Superlight R500 and a few Lotus cars. You can see the entire list of cars that are in A class over at KudosPrime.
There are a few B class Track toy cars, that i believe you should be able to upgrade to A class, in order to race them here. Its the Lotus Elise, and the Alfa Romeo 4C.
Spec League – S class
This weeks Spec league is locked to Ferrari F40 in stock. It is an S class league and the car is awesome! I had a few laps in it, and besides being a beautiful classic, it was a dream to drive. The F40 has been called the best super car ever made and there is a good reason for this.
Take a look at this video from Top gear where they compare it to an other super car from the 80s (Porche 959):
Ghost D Class
For this league, you’ll have to choose a D class car, that is part of the Vintage Touring division. These are a bunch of very interesting classics, that have earned their stars many years ago. Even though some of them can be tricky to handle, they can be pretty fast, and even though the racing is not the fastest, it is going to be a beautiful week in this league.
You can find the cars that are part of the Vintage Touring division over at KudosPrime. In this division, you’ll find classics such as Jaguar E type, Mercedes Benz 300SL, Fiat Dino and Aston Martin DB5. What car will you choose?
